Unlike most hotels, each room offers its own individual
character, dιcor and architectural detail of the local cave
houses. Even the smallest of rooms has a welcome and open feel,
thanks to the generous closets, large bathrooms and abundance of
natural light. And while the necessities of our vacation
accommodations are modern, the charm is completely yesteryear.

Bedrooms are unique in design and layout and are amongst the
most generous-proportioned in the region. Nine are converted
from Bysantine old caves and one from a traditional stone arched
room. The caves, insulated by the volcanic "tuff" rock stay at a
comfortable temperature throughout the year and there are log
fires in most rooms to add to the coziness when the weather is
cooler.
Eat or relax in the salon or in one of the many
outside terraces. The covered terrace has a great panoramic view
of the castle, old town and countryside.
The hotel also has a large (approximately 90 square meter)
Ottoman Lounge that can be used for group activities or for
relaxing in. The view again is excellent on three sides.
Breakfast is a traditional buffet-style spread with local bread,
jams, honey, olives, local cheeses and salad as well as cereals.
Lunch can be arranged according to individual needs.
A four course dinner is selected from the local cuisine menu and
is changed daily. Soup is follwed by hot and cold appetisers,
main course and dessert. Some dishes are cooked in a "tandir", a
clay oven sunk into the ground. Vegatarian diets can be
accomodated. The local wine comes from small vineyards and is
very palatable.
